Energy-independent and resource-conserving: Lehmann’s new furniture lock works without batteries or cables

Activity at the press of a button, without any external power source whatsoever. This is the concept behind „Activo“, the new RFID furniture lock. The energy required for operating it is produced solely by pressing the button which also doubles up as a handle. Ahead of its market launch, Lehmann Locks is demonstrating this newly developed lock at Interzum 2025, presenting a solution that not only conserves environmental resources but also cuts operating costs and maintenance work.

„Activo“ achieves its security standard by combining reliable RFID technology and a mechanical cylinder concealed in the pushbutton which can be opened in an emergency with a service key. Working with „MIFARE DESFire“ technology, the RFID reader allows access via transponder.

This lock is configured and managed by means of master and programming cards or using LMS Lehmann Management Software. As such, the new lock is based on the same operating and configuration concept as all other RFID locks from Lehmann.

„Activo“ gives facility managers the choice of defined locker assignment and selection flexibility. A status indicator shows the user whether a locker is available or taken.
