„We are family!“ Lehmann Locks, specialists in mechanical and electronic locking solutions, is now pursuing the „family„ concept for related products. Alongside the „Capio„ family, which features various control options for electronic locks, Lehmann is now presenting „Verto„ at interzum 2025. This family includes two mechanical combination locks and two electronic locking solutions that use NFC and RFID technology. All of them share the same drilling pattern, style of design as well as an emergency unlocking capability.
The „Dial Lock Public“, a free-code lock that Lehmann presented at Interzum 2023 with optimised operating concept, is now joined by a further dial lock with identical user-friendly features. The “Verto Dial Lock Private” works with a personal fixed code.
At interzum 2025, two electronic locks, each with an interchangeable operating mode, will also be broadening the product family with the characteristic design. Battery-free, making it cost-efficient, the „Verto zero NFC“ operates exclusively via a smartphone. The smartphone provides the requisite power by induction and also communicates the authentication data.
Transponder app for using Android and Apple
The battery-operated „Verto RFID MIFARE“ version provides both a user-friendly and comprehensive solution for secure storage in offices and many other environments. It is based on Lehmann’s end-to-end operating and configuration concept for RFID locks. Authentication is performed via transponder or the Lehmann transponder app which supports both Android and „iOS“ devices via NFC. The lock opens and engages by means of the rotary knob. The mechanical cylinder enables emergency unlocking with a service key.
Useful family characteristics
Featured across the product family, design consistency and ergonomic details make operation effortless. This includes the feel of the rotary knob as well as its turning movement shortened to 90 degrees. Clear signalling shows the user the lock’s status and helps to make operation easier.
All locks from the „Verto“ product family are based on the same drilling pattern and are easily interchanged without any modification to furniture. An adapter is not required. The concept helps with managing inventory and provides greater flexibility when it comes to selecting a lock. Using a variety of locking mechanisms such as latches, espagnolette rods, catches and many more options, „Verto“ locks are recommended for many different types of furniture.
