Wider than wide – Kesseböhmer presents 750 cm tall larder units

They were among the secret heroes at Eurocucina in Milan in June 2022: very wide larder and base units and even integrated electrical appliances. The trend does not just introduce a new design. It also provides a corresponding increase in volume. Impressed by these new dimensions, Kesseböhmer is presenting their technical realisation of this for their “TANDEM Solo” and “CONVOY Lavido” larder units at SICAM 2022.

The trays in the “TANDEM Solo” move gently towards the user when the door is opened, offering full visibility with a single hand movement. Because it is compatible with any front panel, “CONVOY Lavido” is the ideal storage solution for all kinds of layouts, e.g. even behind sliding doors. The larder fitting serves up the contents aesthetically and smoothly on floating trays. It offers transparency and accessibility from three sides.

Kesseböhmer is now presenting both fittings in the 750 cm width, embracing the trend towards wider units which are not just suitable for the kitchen but also as cabinets in a living room. The manufacturer is exhibiting sophisticated versions of fittings at SICAM with wooden trays, black framed glass fronts and illuminated interiors.

“TANDEM Solo” is the entry-level larder solution. Smooth-running “CONVOY Lavido” is a strong yet elegant showcase that will appeal to design-savvy users. At SICAM 2022, Kesseböhmer particularly wants to engage in conversation with visitors from the kitchen furniture industry to get feedback on the wider larder unit variants.
